در این مقاله، یک معیار جامع سنجش کیفیت به منظور بررسی عملکرد مدل‌های شناسایی شده از سیستم‌های هیبرید غیرخطی با روش‌های مبتنی بر رگرسیون بردار پشتیبان، توسعه داده شده است. معیار سنجش کیفیت پیشنهادی در بردارنده تمامی فاکتورهایی است که کیفیت مدل شناسایی شده را تحت تاثیر قرار می‌دهد. این فاکتورها عبارتند از: خطای شناسایی، کیفیت سیگنال سوئیچ و پیچیدگی مدل. با استفاده از معیار کیفیت توسعه داده شده‌، می‌توان پاسخ‌های حاصل از شناسایی سیستم هیبرید را مقایسه کرده و بهترین مدل بدست آمده که دارای پیچیدگی معقول بوده، خطای شناسایی مناسب داشته و کیفیت سیگنال سوئیچ آن مطلوب است را انتخاب نمود. این معیار کیفیت با لحاظ کردن اصل تیغ اوکام، از انتخاب مدل‌های بسیار پیچیده جلوگیری می‌کند. همچنین امکان مقایسه تاثیر توابع کرنل متفاوت بر مدل شناسایی شده را با در نظر گرفتن فاکتورهای ذکر شده، فراهم می‌کند.
