در این مقاله، مسئله‌ی کنترل هماهنگ یک سیستم تراکتور- تریلر و یک ماشین برداشت محصول کمباین به کمک روش رهبر- پیرو در حضور عدم قطعیت‌های مدل با هدف ردیابی مسیر زمانی مرجع برای اولین ‌بار مورد توجه قرار می‌گیرد. ابتدا، یک مدل دینامیکی مرتبه دوم رهبر- پیرو به صورت اویلر- لاگرانژ توسعه می‌یابد که تمام خواص ساختاری مدل دینامیکی را حفظ می‌کند. سپس، کنترل ربات تراکتور- تریلر به نحوی انجام می‌گیرد که فاصله و جهت نسبی مطلوب با ماشین جمع آوری محصول، حفظ شود. برای این منظور، طراحی کنترل‌کننده‌ی پیشنهادی به روش مقاوم تطبیقی عصبی انجام می‌گیرد. در این طرح کنترلی، نامعینی‌های پارامتری مانند جرم، ممان اینرسی و پارامترهای فیزیکی دیگر توسط شبکه‌ی عصبی تابع پایه شعاعی تخمین زده می‌شوند و سپس نامعینی‌های غیرپارامتری از قبیل دینامیک‌های مدل نشده سیستم، اصطکاک و لغزش چرخ‌ها توسط جمله کنترلی مقاوم تطبیقی جبران می‌گردند. به علاوه، نشان داده می‌شود که کنترل‌کننده خطاهای ردیابی را وادار می‌کند که به توپ کوچکی اطراف مبدأ در حضور نامعینی‌ها میل کنند. پایداری کنترل‌کننده‌ پیشنهادی به صورت تحلیلی و بر اساس تئوری لیاپانوف اثبات می‌شود. نهایتاً، طرح‌ کنترلی پیشنهادی با استفاده از نرم‌افزار متلب شبیه‌سازی و اعتبار آن‌ نشان داده خواهد شد و با کنترل‌کننده‌ی پس‌گام مقایسه می‌شود.
