در این مقاله، روش کنترل غیرخطی تحمل پذیر عیب تطبیقی برای ردیابی وضعیت ماهواره با سه گشتاورساز مغناطیسی و یک چرخ عکس­العملی در حضور نامعینی های اینرسی ، اغتشاشات خارجی و عیب عملگرها ارائه می­گردد. ابتدا متغیر سطح لغزش طوری انتخاب می­شود که از تکینگی جلوگیری کرده و بتواند همگرایی زمان محدود خطای ردیابی وضعیت ماهواره را تضمین کند. سپس، مد لغزشی نهایی سریع غیرتکین اصلاح­شده به عنوان روش کنترل وضعیت تحمل پذیر عیب طراحی می­شود. در ادامه، به منظور بهبود عملکرد سیستم کنترل حلقه بسته، بهره کنترلی روش پیشنهادی با استفاده از روش کنترل تطبیقی طراحی می­شود. بهره کنترلی تطبیقی شده مستقل از باندهای بالا و پایین فاکتورهای اثربخشی عملگر طراحی شده است. اثبات پایداری با استفاده از کاندید تابع لیاپانوف نشان می­دهد، خطای ردیابی وضعیت و سرعت زاویه­ای به صفر همگرا می­شوند. برای ارزیابی عملکرد روش ارائه شده، نتایج شبیه سازی­ها با حالت‏ غیرتطبیقی متناظر مقایسه می­شود. این نتایج نشان­دهنده عملکرد بهتر روش کنترلی پیشنهادی در ردیابی وضعیت مطلوب، کاهش چشمگیر مدت زمان همگرایی و کاهش چترینگ گشتاور کنترلی است.
