این مقاله سعی در معرفی کاربردهای سیستم­های هپتیک، واقیت مجازی و هوش مصنوعی در زمینه آموزش پزشکی در دوران همه­گیری ویروس کرونا را دارد. در دهه­های اخیر، استفاده از تکنولوژی­های جدید برای ابداع روش­هایی توانمند که قابلیت جایگزینی با روش­های آموزش سنتی را دارا باشد، رونق فراوان گرفته­است. این روش­ها کوشیده­اند تا با دخیل­کردن بیشتر جراح ماهر در فرآیند آموزش، عواقب ناشی از اشتباهات جراحان تازه­کار را برای بیماران به حداقل برسانند. با ایجاد شرایط خاص ناشی از ویروس کرونا در ایران و جهان و با وضع شرایط قرنطینه در بسیاری از شهرها اهمیت آن­ها افزایش یافته­است چرا که نیاز به تماس فیزیکی را به حداقل رسانده و در حفظ سلامت کادر پزشکی تاثیر بسزایی خواهند داشت. تمامی مراحل آموزش با بهره­گیری از روش­های جدید می­تواند با حفظ فاصله­گذاری اجتماعی و حتی بصورت غیرحضوری انجام شود که خطر ابتلا را برای تمامی افراد دخیل در چرخه آموزش از بین خواهد برد. این مطالعه مروری، تلاش می­کند تا با ارائه حوزه­هایی که پتانسیل استفاده از روش­های جدید را دارا می­باشند، به قطع زنجیره ابتلا در زمان همه­گیری ویروس کرونا و یا بحران­های مشابه کمک کند.
