در این مقاله نوعی فیلتر پیش‌بین با رویکرد جدید برای ترازیابی سامانه ناوبری اینرسی با مدل غیرخطی ارائه و پایداری آن تحلیل‌شده است. پایداری فیلتر جدید بر اساس روش لیاپانوف مورد تجزیه‌وتحلیل قرارگرفته است. تابع لیاپانوف را به‌صورت تابع هزینه درجه دوم انتخاب می‌شود. این روش شرایط کافی را برای پایداری حالت تعادل در برابر عدم قطعیت و نویزهای اندازه‌گیری ارائه می‌دهد. از روش پیشنهادی برای بهبود دقت ترازیابی اولیه یک سامانه ناوبری اینرسی با عدم قطعیت و خطای سمت با مقدار بزرگ استفاده‌شده است. مدل اندازه‌گیری این سامانه غیرخطی بوده و دارای خطای مدل‌سازی است. در این روش خطای مدل تخمین زده‌شده و سپس در الگوریتم فیلتر این خطا جبران می‌شود؛ به همین خاطر خطای حالت‌های تخمین نیز در مرحله بهنگام سازی اطلاعات فیلتر کاهش می‌یابد. با انجام شبیه‌سازی‌های گوناگون این روش بر روی‌داده‌های واقعی حسگر میکرو الکترومکانیکی MEMS و با مقایسه آن با فیلتر کالمن توسعه‌یافته و فیلتر کالمن بدون بو، مشاهده می‌شود که روش پیشنهادی دقت و سرعت همگرایی بالاتری نسبت به فیلتر کالمن توسعه‌یافته و فیلتر کالمن بدون بو دارد. اثبات می‌شود الگوریتم جدید دارای پایداری مجانبی است.
